Redemption Designz
Redemption Designz opened shop in early 2021 at the Salmon Run Mall. Everything in the store is locally made and handcraftded by local vendors. This business is also unique in that they offer a full size arts and crafts room right in the store, as well as retail space. Both being from the North Country, they decided to open their business at Salmon Run Mall after talking with other local vendors at various craft shows that had worked with the mall, or were currently in the mall. They recommended a mall location due to better visibility, foot traffic and exposure.
Owned and operated by Scott Sample and Olivia Bender, they got the idea for Redemption Designz when they were faced with downsizing in their current jobs, due to the pandemic. They always enjoyed resin artwork, and making projects with apoxy, so decided to turn their hobbies into a business. The business is also unique as it offers an entertainment piece to the mall, as they offer classes – either individual or group classes, right in store. Anyone wishing to register for classes can do so by visiting the store, or look on their website at www.redemptiondesignz.com. Redemption Designz also donates 5% of all proceeds to help those going through recovery.
